We have nearly 60 years of experience of being in the United Kingdom, as even when we lived and worked abroad, family ties allowed for frequent visits (unless COVID got in our way! - which it did briefly).

The danger of 'blogging' about favourite places is that they can become busier - but that's a risk we shall take!
