As best as we could capture at the time...

We logged the ships progression using a GPS Data logger, which shows the course we took across the 7 day cruise.

The Day at Sea (orange line) plot had to be broken into 3 segments, as Google Maps won't allow GPX data files larger than 5Mb.

  • I edited the longer log into 3 chunks.
  • I have not cleaned up the start and end of logs, so there maybe some 'dead time' prior to actual movement of ship. Therefore, actual leg duration is approx.
  • Ravenna to Trieste log was incomplete - not sure why - maybe GPS battery failed / not sure.
  • I also change logging mode to every 50 metres after that point, to reduce file sizes.

For the first time ever, we heard that Marella Cruises auction off the actual cruise plot for charity at the end of the week. No idea how much it went for, but you have this one 'for free!'
