Phu Quoc - an island stopover...
Phu Quoc lies off the South West coast of Vietnam and Cambodia in the Gulf of Thailand. It was the stop-over destination for our start and finish of our 14 day Vietnam tour.

Thoughts
We only stayed 1 night, but the rooms were great - although it took about 2 hours before we could check in. We were quite high up, so had good views over pool area, but far enough up not to be too bothered by any noise.
Beach access was good, and quite pleasant to walk on.
Food / Drinks
Great rooftop bar and a very good restaurant on-site. We ate Vietnamese dishes, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Charcoal's Top Tip
Outside the hotel, there is a long street of restaurants / food stalls / night market - so if you don't fancy hotel food, explore there... although we ate in hotel (out of convenience and 'jet lag') - we walked outside to explore (and came upon this area).
