Day 8 Review - Michael Portillo - brief encounter

So, after spending an hour above Dubrovnik, waiting for the sun to reveal itself from behind some 'storm clouds', we sauntered back up the hill, towards the cable car station.

A man and woman walked downhill, the man carrying an outside broadcast 'boom' mike and presumably recording gear on his chest harness.

Minutes later, Michael Portillo comes ambling down the path, in his signature bright clothing and another member of the crew.

We had a brief interchange and shook hands; I mentioned I loved his programs, to which he replied 'Thank you..' Off he then proceeded towards the vantage point we'd vacated minutes before...

So, we shall look forward to watching his program when it airs!
